Applications are open for admission to the Master’s and Doctoral programs in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) at the Instituto Militar de Engenharia (IME). The selection process is open to Brazilian and foreign civilians, as well as reserve career officers who hold a higher education degree.

Key dates for admission in the first semester of 2027:

• Application period: October 1–November 22, 2026.

• Academic assessment results: January 19, 2027.

• Racial self-identification verification (heteroidentificação) and document review: February 1, 2027.

• Preliminary results of racial self-identification verification and document review: February 10, 2027.

• Appeals against these preliminary results: February 11–12, 2027.

• Final results of racial self-identification verification and document review: February 17, 2027.

• Admission results: February 18, 2027.

• Enrollment week: February 22–26, 2027.

• Start of the semester: March 1, 2027.
